I was going to start my update when I noticed suddenly that there was a new Mary set, remembered that this is a porn site, and went and looked at pictures.

Now that I got that out of the way, it is time for my update.

New Years Eve

The day started out with me oversleeping. So at about two in the afternoon I started getting ready for all that was to come, including collecting up all the phone numbers I was going to need.

And in that activity I ran into the first problem.

I did not have jimmydoom's number.

I tried like hell to find it, calling everyone or being called by those who people I already called were calling to try to help me (my friends were actually helping me out, which shows just how amazing they are) when I decided to go pick up my daughter for the day before taking her out to my cousin's. I got back and had a call from Kira who had the number, so I called her back, she gave it to me, and things were underway.

I called michael and laney's cell phone twice, just to be sure it wasnt jd. Argh. I have since discovered the number was one digit off. So now I had to decide what to do, because I realized that jimmydoom had no idea that I didnt know how to get a hold of him. When he found out he put up a serious effort, but in vain. This is one more reason I probably really do need a cell phone, but that is yet another story.

I took my daughter to my cousin's and stopped off at Kira's on the way back and hung out while she and Inannamute prepared for the evening's festivities. Turned out I now was to spend the evening with them as well as SYH, tongue_boy, and my newest friend Mileka. I drove Kira to work and went home to get ready.

Had, at this point, I checked my email, I would have taken a different course, been in flint, been at clutch, and would be feeling it now. Alas, I didnt go near the computer because it took me so long to get back here and I knew that Inannamute was already being ridiculously impatient in her waiting. Some point after I dressed and headed back out she called to stress her impatience and hatred for my lack of cellphone-ness on my machine.

I got back, and we waited for tongue_boy and Mileka at the house, so I killed the rest of my black label SoCo and was drunk by the time we left... a state I would remain in for the rest of the night and most of the morning.

I had a decent time at the bar considering, and also got to see phrougbhouy and meldarko throughout the night. I talked with metaleric and rhanarose as well, and actually got rhana to request my friendship, and will tell a hell of a story about later this week. I stayed drunk, and at some point there was a mess of drama, which I was pretty sure was somehow my fault, but actually appears may not have been, but I had no real idea what was going on so I didnt try to figure it out. I ended up leaving the bar, and being driven back by meldarko who was awesome enough to have not only a beach boys cassette but also a elvis costello cassette and a mr bungle one too. Life was good.

I got to talk to meldarko about country music, some of my work, some of hers, and actually made it back safe, which I certainly could not have done on my own.

I spent some time on the couch of doom, and awoke still drunk and tagged along with Inannamute to go get Kira. I had mcDonalds for the second time, the first being on my way back, and ended up in a comatose state in a bed in a room I did not know existed, because I have never been to that end of the house.

I woke today at 430, and I proceeded to pick up Abigail, who is now watching Peter Pan (the live action one that I like) while I update.

It doesnt beat moshing and seeing clutch, but I endured and had a pretty good time.
