Happy Presidents Day! How come we only really celebrate Honest Abe and George Washington? I mean what about FDR? JFK? Teddy Roosevelt? Or even Hoover, Taft, and Ford? I mean they were presidents too. I think it's favortism or something along those lines. Of course I didn't think about it being Presidents Day today.
See I knew there was no work today but I showed up to my temp agency but alas the revolving doors were locked. Of course I still felt the need to ask the security guard if Randstad (Who I temp for) was open and she said no. Damn all that way to turn in a timecard for nothing. So I went to Electronics Boutique to see if they had Thor from the Marvel Legends Series III line. That's where I got Magneto and Wolverine from which yeah... makes me a dork. Nothing. SO I went to Comics Dungeon to trade in my Ultimate Spidermans containing the "Public Scutiny" for the Trade Paperback containing the same story. But they already had the issues. So... my day was productive... but nobody else felt like fitting my schedule. I HATE that! I did a couple other things like Used DVD searches at Cellophane Square and Tower Records but nothing.
So I came home and watched Brotherhood of the Wolf... which I have had for a few months but never got around to watching. Great film. Beautifully shot, lots of boobies, lots of gore, good plot, some kung-fu action and more. I myself chose to watch it in French the way it was shot with subtitles. Buy the way, is it me or was the shephardess (Is that how you spell the word?) cute or what?
