Let me just say Happy New Year! Ok so it's Chinese New Year but it's still fun. I went down to the International District and watched the celebration. I also ate a bunch of food from Uwijimaya, and feel like I gained some weight. I have to say I love the Chinese Dragons. They're so elequant and beautiful to watch. No fireworks but some people in my neighborhood set some off at about 3 in the morning last night.
Later tonight I'm going to head on over to the Moon Temple. For those of you not familar with the Seattle restaraunt, it's a Chinese restaraunt in the Wallingford area. I could care less about the food there, for it's the Lounge Area I go to. They have an old fashioned cigarette machine where you pull the knob to get your smokes. They have this huge samarai on the wall, tons of red lights, pull tabs, a jukebox as good as my spelling, and the stiffest drinks for about $3.25. Mainly well drinks and shots. Harry is this old man who's been tending bar there for about 40 years. I think a little more. Not only that but they have a huge poster of Fat Bottom Girls from the same song by Queen.
I also worked my way through Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 3 on DVD. I only watched two episodes but 4 discs down, 2 to go. Yay me.
