Life in the country can sometimes be a little dull.
You liven it up as best you can by doing stupid stupid things, like yelling "Release the hounds!" when you let the dogs out, even if that makes you feel a little bit inadequate, because you've only got two dogs.
That problem was solved when I came home from worlk this evening. We've gotten another dog! I have a honest to goodness pack now! I'm like Tarzan, only with white trainers and a moderately better grasp of the english language.
I have called her Scrap, because she is tiny and wee. She is out on the lawn enjoying the sunshine and eating a rabbits head, which is all the other two left her. She likes sitting on laps and wagging her tail. My mother has another baby animal to fuss over. All is well.
