Went out in Chelmsford, to the bay Horse. Ugh.
not all you will be familiar with one of Essex's premier nightspots - by premier I of course mean 'dank pit that sucks the very joy from your soul'.
You know that bit in Star Wars, where Obi-Wan calls Mos Espa 'a wretched hive of scum and villany'? And then they go to the cantina filled with loads of weird looking aliens and assorted vagabonds?
The Bay Horse is nothing like that, because Aliens are cool.
This weekend has lacked:
Pretty Girls.
Risk Taking.
Mysterious phone calls.
Climatic swordfights on rooftops in the pouring rain, to decide the fate of countries nations, even the world.
Gutsy and headstrong heroines.
This Weekend has contained:
Irritating text messages.
A question of Science "Can you deep fry an Apple?"
Handbrake turns - This doesn't really count as risk taking, because I'm dead good at it.
Chin Ups.
Next weekend will be better I think.
But now a question for you. Time is short, fate hangs in the balance. You decision could tip the balance, think on.
Dateline:
20th of January, 2006.
Place:
Hepcat Tattoos.
Our Young Hero gets himself a new tattoo, to mkae up for a lack lustre new year's eve that somehow failed to live up to it's promise - just like every new year then.
But what is our hero, boyishly handsome with a strong jaw and well proportioned shoulders, getting done.
Along the hard stretch of ruthlessy trained muscle of his stomach, between the forward prongs of his narrow hips, he's etching lettering in thick black inky letters. But what word?
Is it Memento Mori - the words whispered to Roman Emperors as they were ordanied, to remind them that despite their power, they were still men?
Or is it Inchoate - meaning something still forming, a chaotic begining?
Have your say, or suggest something better.

I love Latin phrases, out of the 2 you're thinking of I'd go for memento mori. Or you could do "A posse ad esse" - From possibility to actuality or "Hunc tu caveto" - Beware of this man. Here's a webpage that's got loads of Latin phrases, some are good and others are piss-takes. Latin Dictionary
