I just found a new band, Defiance, Ohio. The are a nice blend of folk punk, they came out of the same sence as Against Me!. Their website is below and if you want to try some songs, try Response To Griot and I Don't Want Solidarity If It Means Holding Hands With You. Goodtimes.

Classes suck! Actually they aren't that bad, except for Computers As Componets. Computers As Componets is a 5 credit hour class, which even the professor says should be 7 or 8 hour class. The class sounds fun, but the professor said that you could spend an hour on a lab that will take other people 20 - 30 hours and vice-a-versa (sp?). He also said...

New Mexico was good, not great, but good. I don't mind going to NM, but it's not really that exciting for me. The only reason I like Santa Fe, is because of the godly Mexican food and because I can buy some great red chile for cooking. Other than the food, it was kinda boring. My Grandma had a good birthday, and she had fun....

I hate getting ready for trips with my parents. They are total opposites. My mom has everything planned months in advance and everything is packed two days before we go. And then my dad just goes along for the ride and packs like 10 mins before we leave. Or my dad pulls the classy move of not packing and then buying like 3 outfits while...

norlin is definitely creepy and very confusing.

i can't handle trips with both of my parents. my mom is overly ambitious and my dad likes to take "scenic routes" and drive around and look at whatever animals are native to the area and such.

where are you vacationing to? or where have you vacationed to if you read this after the fact?
jonnytrrrash7:
i choose yr dad's method biggrin last minute all the way!!

I am getting ready to go to Santa Fe for my Grandma's brithday party. I don't think any body knows how old she is, including my Grandma herself. I think she is going to be 84 or 85, but that's just my guess. We'll see how it turns out.

The Ramones are good, very good. biggrin
jonnytrrrash7:
gabba gabba hey! hope NM is fun...any excuse to get out of town is good.....
smashedpumpkin:
whenever someone says santa fe, i think of that song in the musical rent...but anyhoo...have fun!

My friends move to Boulder in 13 days, I can't wait. No more driving down to Littleton to see them. But then school starts the 23, so it's not that great I guess. I really wanted school to start, but now I am kinda so-so about it. It will be nice to have something to do and my earliest class is 12:30 on MWF and...

Nothing exciting to talk about, meh...

Although the new Leftove Crack record is great, I downloaded it off their website. Now I need to find the record. I would really like to support them considering the live in a squat in NY and do everything DIY.

I changed my pic finally, I don't know it was for the best or worst. It's to damn hard to take a pic of yourself, with making a weird face, a wierd pose, or weird lighting. And for some reason I look really pale and pissed off, both of which aren't true. Oh well, it's the best I could do by myself. biggrin
dragonchylde:
ooo new picture..I likes! biggrin
smashedpumpkin:
awesome!

i still haven't checked out against me! yet, but have every intention to.

did your friend get to keep the ripped off cds?

Streetlight Manifesto put on a great show, and was well worth the $8, the the rest of the bands were local bands. There was like 100 to 125 kids in a place that could hold like 400. The stage was 6 inches off the ground, right where it should be. biggrin

The first band was a local emo band, that had the volume up way to...
