Streetlight Manifesto put on a great show, and was well worth the $8, the the rest of the bands were local bands. There was like 100 to 125 kids in a place that could hold like 400. The stage was 6 inches off the ground, right where it should be. biggrin

The first band was a local emo band, that had the volume up way to loud and everything was distorted. They sounded like they could be good, but I couldn't hear anything. The second band was the best out of the local bands, they were some high school kids from Golden that played ska similar to older Less Than Jake. They were pretty talented for there age. The final band wasn't a local band, I don't think, but they were a progressive rock band I guess. They sounded like At The Drive In, but a lot slower and crappier. By the end of their set there was only 10 people still inside (include me and my friend).

Finally Streetlight Manifesto came on and the place went crazy. Everyone was skanking or moshing. The moshing wasn't crazy like some people make, everyone took care of each other. No one punched or kicked anyone and everyone would stop and help a person fell down. A couple of people loss their shoes and everyone would stop and someone would hold up a shoe until someone claimed it. Anyway, back to Streetligh Manifesto. They played the best show that I had seen ever. They played to a crowd really well, and towards the end of one of the songs the bass player broke a his bass. So he came out into the crowd with his broken bass and pretended to play the rest of the song in the the middle of a circle of people skanking. Then he got another bass from somewhere and finished the set. Then at the end of the show everyone (that coulld fit) got up on the small stage with the band and sang the final song.

One of the best nights I ever had. biggrin
