Anaxarete and I sitting on our couch, she SGing, I watching THE BEARS kick the Rams' asses, and we hear "BZZZ... BZZZZZ..."
It was our door buzzer.
Quite often random drunk folks come by (we live above a bar) and buzz just for the fun of it.
I usually drop water or eggs on them.
This time Anaxarete jumped up and said "Maybe it's Stella_Marie!!"
Uh, ok...
So she goes to the intercom and says "Stella?"
And we hear maniacal laughter in response.
That's Stella Marie alright!
So we buzzed her up and suddenly - there she is in all her glory!
Miss Stella lives a few blocks away from us, but we've never met.
Luckily she took it upon herself to ring random buzzers till she found us!
I think she had had a bit to drink.
But damn she's a funny girl!
She had us in stitches.
I can't repeat any of it, but I think you could put her on a stage with an audience and she could entertain them for hours without breaking a sweat.
She only stopped by for 5 or 10 minutes, but it was enough to allow time for breast comparisons and other sordid wild stuff we had never anticipated on a sleepy Monday night.
We were chuckling (that's a stupid word but I'll leave it in) long after she left.
She's just as nuts in person, folks!
So, we were glad she came over and look forward to seeing her more!
She wants to steal my family though....

Almost makes it worth it!

We watched about 10 or 15 minutes of that transferred film from my grandparents.
VERY cool stuff from the late 50's -color (!) 8mm of a trip they took to New Orleans - so cool!
