First I'd like to say that I'm VERY unhappy that my friendslist is about get shorter.
Keen and Pastura are leaving the sight, and Laceyglove may as well have already, and will in fact soon enough, although I've heard that we've lost her to Jesus of all people.
Also I never hear from Clytie anymore and from Lemuria a lot less than I'd like to.
So, all that makes me sad.
Sure, we can keep in touch through my
space, but frilz, homey don't play dat.Hopefully we can keep in just enough touch that, circumstance allowing, we have a chance to meet someday...

My mother.
She likes to tell apocryphal stories.
Try this one for instance (in my mother's voice:
One day when K (my sister) was 3, I was pushing her on a swing.
She was laughing and we were having SO much fun!
Laughing and laughing, and I was pushing her higher and higher, and I didn't even notice how hard I was pushing her, and how high she was going till suddenly I pushed all the way around, over the top of the swingset!
I was terrified, but K just kept laughing like nothing had happened....
Ok.
What's wrong with that story?
Tell me.
She, to this day, insists that it's true and gets really mad when I point out the obvious flaws.
BTW, my mother would have dragged the story out over 5 minutes.
