I just got done seeing Land of the Dead, and eating burritos, and it was pretty good! uh, the movie. although the burritos were pretty good too.

There was gore galore! Just like any good zombie movie. I certainly wouldn't put Land of the Dead at the top of the list, though. It was good, but, yeah it was good. Asia Argento's a hottie.

In my opinion there has never been a "perfect" zombie movie. Shaun of the Dead was nigh flawless and the remake of Dawn of the Dead was pretty durn good. And of course we can't forget the original Night of the Living Dead. Yeah man. Those are some great flicks. I think those would be my favorite zombie movies, in order too.

A zombie movie must incorporate the following criteria in order for it to be great:
1) You must actually care about the characters, so if they die then you'll actually feel it. This pretty much goes with any movie, though.
2) Ya gotsta have the gore!
3) All of the great zombie movies have metaphorical parallels with the real world. That's one of the things that Romero does so well.

Anyway, I also saw The Machinist starring the Christian Bale, and it was pretty okay. It was kind of along the lines of Fight Club/One Hour Photo/American Psycho. Tonight I'm thinking about watching The Jacket starring the Adrien Brody. We'll see how that goes.

Nine Inch Nails is coming to my town the day before my birthday! That rocks so much!

And Neil Gaiman will be at the Mall of America TWO days before my birthday! woooooooooooooooo!

Sigur Ros is coming to town in September!

Little Shop of Horrors is gonna be here next month!

Looks like everything's coming up Milhouse.

My attitude has been majorly befouled with the discovery of something. majorly. and this week has been going so well, too.

and for the third night in a row I've had a nice dream about something I want to forget. I don't want to forget the person. but. I don't want to get my hopes up for anything. and I don't want anything to hurt. and these dreams sure as hell aren't helping. It'd be nice if they were prophetic. hehe. but somehow I highly doubt they are.

I think some dreams are prophetic, some are our subconcious speaking to our concious and some are soul lessons.

What do you think aobut dreams?
