Went out last night to The Artists' Quarter where Hannah gave her last poetry reading for six weeks. Her poems were good, but not unlike real life, she needed to speak louder.

I met some cool people and there was a jazz band and I think I will want to visit this place more often. Too bad the jazz band is at the exact same time as sparring in Coon Rapids. That really really really really puts a damper on things. and a diaper.

I got a little too tipsy for my own good and had to wait around by myself while I sobered up. I went to Mickey's for a bit and had a short stack of pancakes while realizing right when I ordered that I had to pee like nobody's business and there was no public bathroom.

I don't know how much detail I want to get into. It was a good time. I'm going to visit Hannah a bit when she's all bed-laden and give her some reading material.

As of right now, I'm not looking for a serious relationship, but DAMN I am feeling the need to get PHYSICAL. I need a good fucking romp. I need to ravage and be ravaged. because I am going IN.SANE. IN.FUCKING.SANE.
FUCK.

The sparring I have done has always been pretty informal. I have a lot of friends who are really into martial arts, but, I have never formally trained.

Mainly they just pound on me. biggrin

Is that the Artist's Quarter in Minneapolis?

The one that used to be off of 26th & Nicolett?

I used to go there all the time when I was younger. Then they moved and I never found out where they moved to. frown

I do know a little boy who believes in the power of waffels. wink

I only like the cheap toaster kind. They still crunch when you bite em. Hubby can make some pretty ones come out of our waffel iron.
