It's NOT "different THAN"
it's "different FROM"
That is just one of the many stupid little grammatical errors that just drive me nuts. I'm an English major, so I can't help it!
All I've been doing is watching movies, reading, and sparring.

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry
and some H.P. Lovecraft
We'll see how much of this I'll actually be able to read before summer classes start.

So try to forgive any grevious errors you may find. Or pretend they are typos. That works for me too.
As you might expect I am also a huge Jhonen fan. Also a big fan of Wilde. Although it has been years since I read The picture of Dorain Gray. I should reread that. Given how young I was the first time I may very well have missed some of the finer points.
I envy part of your current state of being. The other part I have plenty of.
