I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind again last night and that is a DAMN fine movie. Aside from the mind wiping, there seem to be a few parallels between Joel and Clementine's relationship and my previous one. shite. It probably wasn't in the best interest of my mental health to watch that movie, but I felt compelled, I had to. I don't regret it. I think I actually feel better.

Today I unload all the crap from moving back, watch the Christmas episode of Invader Zim and possibly watch Apocalypse Now.

Other movies I need to see:
Rear Window
Razor's Edge
The Godfather
2001: A Space Odyssey
Full Metal Jacket
Dr. Strangelove
Wet Hot American Summer
The Passion of the Christ--just out of curiosity
Almost every David Lynch film
Suspirio
Audition--FUCKED up Japanese horror flick
And there are probably loads of others I can't remember at the moment. I'll add more onto it in later entries.

If anybody does happen to read this, I suggest you read the graphic novel Blankets by Craig Thompson. It's absolutely gorgeous.

You liked that snowman huh? I guess it's got some appeal. Maybe I'll bring it back. Anyway... Why are the Japanese crazy? Yes, the pornography is a telltale sign. I mean, all the pent up aggression! "You want me to fuck you until you bleed don't you!? You want me to HURT YOU!" and twenty armed tentacle monsters raping little girls and shoving things into every orifice. Fucked up.

But also this goddamn love of the Cute. Office Lady's. Salarymen. The whole goddamn ant colony mentality. Do we even need to jump into pop culture? Ow.
