I got tagged by the lovely QwertyGirl soooo without further ado . . .
1. One of my front two teeth has a stain on it that's been there since the dawn of time and I occasionally feel self-conscious about it when I smile my gigantically enormous smile.
2. My hands sweat uncontrollably most of the time, thus making many social and intimate situations that require touch awkward as fucking hell.
3. I'm a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I've been practicing since I was about seven. I've also kickboxed for a number of years. One of these days I'll actually test for my 4th degree and I would actually train for a fightcard if I wasn't so sure that my shnozz was basically made to be broken.
4. All of the few spiritual experiences I've had have to do with music.
5. I'm the only person I really know personally who actively reads comic books as well as graphic novels. Although I know some who know a bit about this medium, I'm pretty much alone in this hobby.
6. I'm secretly in love with Bea Arthur.
7. I had a surgery when I was much younger that only a handful of people outside of my family (only one being male) actually know what it was.
8. I recently did weed for the first time and, aside for ten blissful and giggle-filled minutes, I got so ripped out of my fucking skull that I vanished from the face of the planet while simultaneously being held captive within my body, barely able to move, for the rest of the damn night. It wasn't a fun experience and it isn't one I plan to repeat soon.
9. I have a beloved spoon bracelet and it rocks my world.
10. I once met Steven Seagal at this seminar thing he was putting on about Buddhism. I asked him a question regarding vanity versus confidence and he didn't really answer it. I guess quite a few people think he's an asshole; I dunno about that, maybe, but that motherfucker's TALL.
11. I've been to Austria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, and France. When I was in Poland I visited Auschwitz, and to make it even more depressing, it was cold and raining. I loved France despite how dirty it was. heh. Someday I'd really like to make a return visit.
12. Perhaps I really do have physical sensitivity issues???
13. I'm more aware and observant of things, including myself, than people probably know; it's just that I don't care or I'd rather keep it to myself.
14. I occasionally like to liberate my loins and go commando.
15. I'm addicted to music, and more specifically and currently, the piano. Life really would have no purpose without it. Anyone wanna send me stuff? I'm basically open to anything and everything.
16. I love to go driving through the twin cities at night with the stereo volume set at head-'sploding levels. This is one of the few moments of peace I'm able to feel.
17. I'm not saying I have perfect grammar or anything, but when I'm talking to someone and that person makes a blatant grammatical error such as saying "Irregardless" or something similar to it, I just blank out and can't pay attention to what that person is saying because I'm in complete amazement that the person doesn't know basic rules for speaking standard English. Concessions are obviously made for those who talk with different dialects, but jesus christ, some people need to learn how to talk.
18. I'm an angry left-handed person outraged at this right hand-favored world! roar!
19. I can't do math for shit. FOR SHIT. I've procrastinated balancing my checkbook for far too long because of this. That stereotype about how guys are better at math than girls is not at all true for me, that's for damn sure.
20. I was reared on horror movies. yes. reared. I wish today's horror movies weren't so damn terrible or Japanese movie rip-offs.
21. I know I'm supposed to stop at 20, but we're just gonna have to live with it. I don't know much about animation, but I'm absolutely disgusted with the state of animation in this country. 3D animation is all well and good, but let's bring back some quality hand-drawn animation with quality stories. dammit.
22. On second thought, there are a LOT of things that disgust me about this country. but let's not get started on that . . .
Alright, that's enough of that. The list seems to get angrier as it goes on. hrmmm. In other news, Ben Folds rocked my ass the other night, but people who like to just stand around, straight-faced, with arms crossed, PISS me off. You're at a fucking CONCERT; let the music move through and around you for chrissakes. I totally understand that some concerts or songs do not merit "rockin out," but, for the love of god, at least look like you're enjoying yourself. And when you're standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people, don't turn around and say "watch it" when someone accidentally bumps into you. GOD!!
