I sadly, am unable to find a decent picture of it, I guess people dont really take pictures of behind my ear, GO FIGURE. But my first tattoo was done at Hybrid Tattoo in Northern Virginia, where I used to live! I had just turned 18, like most people who turn 18 I wanted to do something. I am know 21 and I am still thoroughly happy with the reasoning, placement, and overall appearance of the tattoo.
The tattoo I got is in Script writing, and it says Let it Be. Now, I did not get this tattoo because I am a die-hard fan of The Beatles, although I do like them very much. I got the tattoo for the meaning it had to me. Through this time in my life I was having a very hard time. I was very emotionally imbalanced. Ups and Downs, sharp lefts, followed by U-turns, that basically was my life, day to day, week to week. I was MISERABLE. I was treated terribly by many people and I let it take a toll on me, instead of saying "Let it Be" and moving on, and not caring that these people were ruining me, I let them control MY happiness.
Now, whenever I feel myself drowning, whenever I feel like things are out of control, I just say it to myself. Just Let it Be, let it work itself out, because there is nothing that I am able to do about it.
The placement I chose, behind the ear, was because of the lines in the song, "Whisper words of wisdom, let it be". And thus, behind my ear, constant whispers.
