Irony. Now there's a concept for you. I'll try and not mention certain departed parties; it's almost been a month now and I'm still out of my mind with grief.
But I wonder if aforementioned person were really being sarcastic or ironic in any way. I would always tell him 'irony was so vulgar' and thus the sprial continued (oh, but for the thesaurus, it all makes so much sense now...!). For him, though, I think it was the only means of keeping afloat.
I don't think he was. And I'm not, either. Maybe that's why we got along so well. I don't know.
