Thank you everyone who offered hugs and duct tape to mend my broken heart- it was temporary.

I promised myself a trip to Mexico. So tomorrow I leave for Toronto. Because when you are planning a trip to Mexico it is very likely you will end up in Canada. That is how trips go.
