My memory is terrible and having young children, with all its lack of sleep and recovering hormones from pregnancy and lactating, that Im often not sure of what had really happened. This has moved over into my intellectual life. Not having the time to read, but still hungrily devouring reviews, I will think I read a book when I might have only read a summary of it.
I think I read, but Im not sure, a short story in a collection of erotica. The story line is about a man that kidnaps women and makes them stand naked in front of a mirror until they realize how beautiful and attractive they really are. Trying on lingerie today, that no "real" person will probably ever see me in, I tried to keep that in mind. Suffice it to say that I broke down sobbing in the store owner's, Marilyn, arms. Oh and I bought more than I spend on groceries for a week. Maybe there will be pictures, another way Im standing in front of that mirror.
And because of all the very sweet questions about my evening last night- it was GREAT!! I, actually, ended up talking to someone who was very enjoyable late into the night over greasy eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I even got to wake up to an email from him asking for more. I have no idea how to respond.
But Im a wreck today, as you can read. So much that when I got a pedicure to welcome spring, I kept thinking how nice it would be to not have to pay someone to rub my feet. After years of never having my feet touched except by paid feet whores, I'd love to have someone around that would, well, just give.

I'd trade 5 years of meeting strange chicks in bars for one day with you. Even fully dressed.
