Today at the store I had no idea how much halibut to buy. I know exactly how much my family used to eat, but trying to shorten that to only three surpassed me. I wanted it, but probably my kids wont eat it and I will throw out at least eight dollars worth of fish. Or maybe they will be ravenous. So I decided on some random quanity and ended buying a half gallon of chocolate ice cream and two packages of Haggen Daas bars to fill in just in case.
It didnt matter, anyway, as I ate dinner alone. The kids went with their father. And I had lentil soup and mango with lime; brutal in my enjoyment of my loneliness.

Anyway, I found it was the strangest things that would make me break down or laugh out loud or boggle my mind. Embrace them all ... and this too shall pass. The only thing that is certain in life is change.
Hope you're feeling great, beautiful!
