i went to Carbondale for the weekend. A very much needed little get away.
and this time i got to take the new boyfriend!
he enjoyed it was much as i do! we got into town around 2:15 friday afternoon. we immediately went to PK's. My favorite dive bar! I miss this place so much! We met up with our friends we were staying with and then went out into the snow! I didnt anticipate all this snow! We drunkenly trekked up to the bar through all the snow, continued to drink the night away, said hi to my friends that were there, got gyros and jalapeno poppers from Sam's, and then drunkenly trekked home. Apparently we also peed in the snow together.
so it was a successful 15 hours or drinking.
and some how this goof ball cant sleep on an air mattress without falling off. we also discovered that drunken sex on an air mattress will most likely end up with a giggling fit on the floor because we fell off.
and dammit ive got to learn not to drink so much the first night so that im not too hungover to go out the next. Anyone know some good hangover remedies or prevention techniques? I'm noticing that they are getting worse as im getting older.
speaking of me getting older......i turn 25 in 23 days! i have no idea what im going to do. I'm making shit money right now and it sucks so any grandiose plans probably arent a good idea. Im not upset about turning a quarter of a century, but i do not like the idea of being 1 more year closer to 30! but its silly to worry about that. so many good things are happening and are going to happen in the next 5 years. who cares how old i am!?!
so our little weekend was good. we had fun even if i was tired and crabby at the end on the way home. we will def go down again in a few months in the spring when its nicer and prettier down there.
in more news: im getting a 55 gallon fish tank for $50! plus a stand for it! and a 30 gallon w/a stand! and whatever supplies he can find. my goldfish are going to be so happy! yay for friends on facebook!
i was thinking today about rearranging my room but i dont know/think i will be living here much longer so i dont really see how much of a point there is to it. me and boyfriend have been talking about moving in with eachother as well as other long term plans.
o and i bought one of these. hopefully this solves our problems. I'm sick of sleeping in wet spots!
