mom is in town teaching me to drive stick on my new car.

any pointers? im still killing it when im starting from a stop. but then again its only the first day.

cant understand why they keep falling for me. im gonna have to break more hearts.

need to do good on embalming final to pass class. hopefully i can pull this off.

hate being so asexual.

feel super dead.

new MSI is amazing. go buy it.

I remember learning to drive a stick ... basically, about 5 minutes of discussion on what to do, then behind the wheel, and off while my Dad followed to the rear for the drive home. This is similar to the "getting chucked in the pond" method of learning to swim.

Before it became an automatic reflex I considered an imaginary cable connecting the contact point in the clutch through the clutch pedal, my left leg, then torso, right leg, and accelerator pedal. When I (slowly, but not too slowly) let up on the clutch enough to hear engine RPMs drop my right leg extended to bring them up again, and allowed that balance to play out until the clutch was fully engaged.

driving stick is just getting used to doing a few things at once, after a while you will not even think about it. I have not driven a stick shift in years, but know that I could go out and after a few starts and stops that I will get used to the car and after that I will not even think about it. I had a lot of standard transmission cars when I was younger and not owned one in probably 20 years.
Now to DO IT was it to buy that or have sex, am am all for the second one.
