it appears that i will have access (however rather limited) to the internet while i am here. good stuff.
The basics...
-it's wickedly hot here, although it's kinda dry so it's not totally unbearable, however remember, it's october
-we get attacked by way of mortars on a daily basis. a mortar for those of you who don't know, is basically a rocket that is set off from a remote location, aimed for another. big boom, and lots of injured people.
-morale fucking sucks. nobody is ready for this, and nobody wants to be here.
-the food is pretty good.
-i miss being around the people that i love to some huge extent, there is nothing more important to me, and nothing further away now.
