today is officially my last day in iraq.
i leave tonight in a c-130 headed for kuwait, where i will spend the next three weeks or so refitting and preparing my unit for the move back home.
i will also be pulling medical support in case anybody falls of a stryker or something.

let's hope my plane doesn't get shot down.

finally, i have left the god foresaken iraqi villiage of rawha, and returned to a much safer and laid back place full of good food and clean bodies.
paradise, or damn near.
i leave iraq for good in 6 days, my heart will be doing back flips the full time i'm sure.

these days before you go into the military or policeforce they require that you at least live on the outside world, to better understand the goals we all want to attain. and the same with schools several years ago. T o create a gap year of life experience before going on to further education.
