This past weekend was pretty busy for me. On Friday I had a private dance lesson and then later Friday night there was a group dancing lesson that I attended. There were quit a few beginner students there and we switched dancing partners with each song so I had a pretty good time.
Then on Saturday I went to an 80's dance party in San Francisco with the singles group that I'm a part of (Events and Adventures). I met a really cute girl there but she didn't pay me much attention and I couldn't think of anything to say to strike up a conversation. I'm not too good at making conversation until I get to know a person. So that was kind of disappointing. Anyway I'm sure I'll see her at another event.
Sunday I went with the singles group on a whale watching trip. It was very cold going out to where the whales were and coming back in. The wind was just brutal. But once we were out there the sun kept us warm and we got to see a few whales a couple of which were really close to the boat. After we got back a group of us went out for dinner at a clam chowder restaurant. I sat next to this cute girl but again found myself unable to make conversation. I definitely need to work on that.
Well I don't have anything planned for this weekend but I am going to the Academy of Science this Thursday again with the singles group.
