ooooh man, the anger and apathy of working a real job is flooding back. i'm on the schedule of a fucking EMT. i've received frantic calls from my ultra-dork (not in a cool way, either) manager at various post-work times like 9:30 on a friday evening, 2:00 on a saturday afternoon ... and, the kicker, 6 FUCKING 30 AM on a SATURDAY MORNING WHILE I...

hmmm ... i fear circus circus and haven't gotten my hands on any mescaline to take along; so i haven't been. as far as i know, palms IS the best place to find fish because that's where the kids that watched rounders once go.
only other places i've played is orleans and mirage. got my ass handed to me. i'm not THAT good.

i learned a couple of interesting things today; one of which being that perhaps i'm often too hasty for my own good. as it were, received an email from amber. evidently, she's in seattle. in school. or something. not real sure of the details but evidently i'll find out soon enough. this, of course, has...

as is my boy POSTOP, i'd say i'm in a rut as well. it's like i've lost all concern for anything and everything. i don't much care about gettin random chicks, i don't much enjoy gambling like i used to ... in fact, the only thing i think about anymore is when i get to drink again.
sad, isn't it?
but seriously. it's true.

Don't know if I qualify for "hot chick" but, I'm female regardless. LA, huh? And you're on a search for "real" people?
I hope you find what you are looking for, eventually. You must come back home and visit soon, though. I need a good dose of sweetheart-cockiness and no one quite compares to you in that category. Oh...and happiness is not in the bottom of a Heineken.

so i'm sitting here drunk and listening to tom waits ... which tends to be the case way too often. if i may, let me state that there's never been and never will be a musician that is, to me, as simply goddamn amazing as tom. i can listen to him over and over again and it's STILL amazing.
that said ... i wish i...

so i'm sitting here listening to charles mingus and realizing that jazz is the greatest music there is. i guess it comes with being an aging musician.
don't get me wrong, i still love rock/metal/punk/whatever. but it's getting to the point where so little of it is satisfying. i'm not a pissed off 16 y/o anymore. i've always valued musicianship ... so it seems even...
