i was driving to a nearby fast food restaraunt some 30 minutes ago, listening to 'appetite for destruction;' the best record to come out of the 80s, if i may be so bold. every time i hear 'my michelle,' i'm reminded of this girl i 'dated' back in 98. her name was allison, and she was the very definition of rock girl. i don't mean sonic youth type rock girl or any sort of goth/glam/whatever ... but more black sabbath style. under normal circumstances, one would think she were a sexual predator-hippie; old, tight, hip-hugger bell bottoms, tight scoopneck shirts, LOTS of jewelry, blood red short hair, not very much makeup, maybe some dark eyeliner for emphasis of evil ... just an old school rock chick, ya know? which was creepy, because i'm sorta the same way; on the rock dude side at least. not particularly freaky, but definitely have my quirks and accessories. regardless, the night i met her i got a strip tease and some of the best sex ever; which may have been inspired by the very tight guns 'n roses t-shirt.

in fact, over the course of the next two months, we did little but fuck, abuse substances and listen to sabbath, acid bath, eyehategod, soylent green, etc ... lots of metal.

and 'appetite' reminds me of her. and i had a pleasant memory. i don't much know what became of her, but last i heard she'd moved home to boston. oh well.
