i feel so loved -- thanks to the folks welcoming me back. i've been lurking for a while now and figured, what the hell, it's only 9 bucks.
did i miss anything cool?
per me, i'm now shlepping apple computers at the apple store in fashion show mall because the design biz in this town is shit. moving to LA in january, most likely.
i'm currently in the midst of a massive overhaul of http://www.aenemated.org so that i may impress the kind people of LA and either get a lot of freelance work or a real job. i fear i may have been beaten in the last few months. being broke sucks and the retail gig, which was initially supposed to be a fun distraction, has become my primary source of income. lame, eh? for once, i miss the corporate world. at least there was a REAL paycheck every 2 weeks and i'm not hardcore enough to exist on meager income. guess they had me pegged right at ibm -- goth yuppie. that's me. ok, not anymore, really, cuz, for the life of me, i cannot wear black on black anymore. but you get the idea. i'll be the steve jobs of today. adhere to counter-culture and suck their money away at the same time.
he's my boss now, you know. and i have business cards with my name and an apple logo on them. it satisfies a burning desire i've had for years.
