so i have an idea for my next big tattoo. as it stands, all mine are pretty simple and basic ... but THIS one would require some serious time in the chair.

as it were ... i've been getting into cool portrait tattoos. they look incredible (see katie's jack torrance piece, for instance).

now, if i were to put a portrait of a person on me, it would have to be of someone who's influenced my life a great deal. so, i got to thinking ... who would that be?

and i arrived at an impasse. because there're two.

there you have it. i'd like to work those two portraits into one at the top of my right arm; which i've been trying to figure something to cover up the crappy ones i got there long ago.

of course, i'd like to use the REAL foto of HST that includes the cigarette. maybe works some selected lines from his work and a few lyrics from tom ... probably

"he who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man ..." for the HST one ... and "the world is not my home, i'm just passing through' for the tom one.
