LA was a fucking blast. it was SO wonderful to be with jess again ... wow. melrose is cool as all hell, hollywood blvd is equally badass. i could spend such an obscene amount of money there. of course, the fact that i'm broke didn't let that happen. probably for the best. i'll be in LA much more often till the first of the year when i prolly get a place there with jess and her sister.

there're no less than 10 shows there in the next month i'd go to. i got into conversations about music with damn near everyone i came in contact with (evidently, musicians detect other musicians there pretty well) and got in a discussion about hank williams sr, jr and III with the clerk at some rock store.
saw a badass g'n'r appetite for destruction t-shirt i wanted ... but, alas, had to conserve cash.
i DID drink for free thursday night, which was cool ... the no-smoking-inside will take some getting used to, i'm sure, but i can adapt.
fun town indeed. traffic was as bad as i expected.
