people that protest annoy me. i can't exactly say why. they just annoy me.

after the 9/11 attacks last year, there were a bunch of ass-backwards hippies running around chapel hill, protesting, well, nothing. the 'potential' for reciprocation i assume. my roommate and i were walking down franklin street and happened past them. i couldn't resist the opportunity, so i approached one and said 'if i punch you in the face, what are you gonna do?'

he threw some silly rhetoric at me about violence begetting violence.

i then said i'm doing research on passive resistance and was curious how deeply the well ran -- is it on a personal level as well? if i punch you in the face, are you going to react?

again, more rhetoric.

so i shoved him and his whole crew got really upset and started threatening me. i laughed, called them stupid hypocrites and walked away.

an amusing day, most definitely. i probably SHOULD have punched him on general principles.

oh yes, so, protestors annoy me. back during the vietnam protests, all the hippies thought the hell's angels were on their side. until they started burning flags; at which point the angels, who were mostly veterans, proceeded to kick the living shit out of a bunch of them.

fucking beautiful. stupid hippies.
