Cool! It's raining! Thank the fucking weather gods. This means I don't have to set up the sprinkler.

I love the sound of the rain . . . well, at least when I'm warm and dry inside some kind of shelter I do. When I'm out in it, shivering and damp, then it drags teeth.

It's great to look out the window and see the property all green and shimmering, with the leaves bending and waving. And to hear the steady drumming on the roof. Makes me want to take a week-long nap.

This morning Sam is leaving for Pensacola and Jen is leaving for Gainesville. So I guess I'll have the whole place to myself for a few days. Woo hoo!
