( if anything seems weird about what I just wrote it’s because I’m using voice to text on my phone)
In 2015 I stopped working full time so I could go back to school. In that time I developed this stupid habit of coming home from class and going right to either TV or computer and sitting there doing homework or Netflix binging or what ever. 90% of the time it was to watch some drum lesson that was going on live streaming or to help fellow drummersthat I chat with on this website.
I started to notice a change in weight around 2016 so I got some new pants and figured well it’ll go away or whatever and when 2017 rolled around, it happened again. Call right near the end of 2017 was when I actually had to buy a new pair of jeans and that’s what I realized “holy shit there’s no way I gained that much” 60 fucking pounds
I did ask my friends about what I should do and they all said I should do a little bit of cardio and a lot of strength training so I did that. And currently I’m almost 3 months in. And I’ve been going three days a week doing 20 minutes of cardio and 40 minutes of strength training. I honestly haven’t noticed a fucking change.
So I’m thinking now correct me if anybody out there knows anything about working out and losing weight anything of that nature but I’m thinking about switching to mainly just 75% cardio 25% strength training. Because I’d rather lose weight faster than I have to. Also I’ve been thinking about doing instead of three days a week, going to days on one day off.
I’m not interested in getting a summer body ha ha but, not just yet, but I have an outfit, suit rather that I purchased over Christmas holiday which is my goal to wear when winter comes around again.
If anyone has any good suggestions feel free to comment.
The reason why I brought this up is because I was looking at some of my latest drum videos on YouTube and thinking “good God I look like a wearing a fat suit. “
Also I have changed my diet, no fast food, more water, less sweets, and more home cooked meals.
