I spent most of today playing music. Getting lots of love and warm wishes across my social media pages. Spent the last bit of the evening at the gym and back home relaxin first with some French press coffee. 37... I still feel 20. Haha!
best part of the day was telling my oldest brother I’m playing at the New Orleans Jazz Festival this year and him freaking out over the phone...”DUDE!!! What?! When?!”
A friend of moments asked me jokingly today
“What wise words can you give us since you’ve embarked in this new life of 37?”
So I replied: “Find what you love, find a way to make it your career. Find someone you love, and find a way to make it fun every day. Find someone who’s lost, and help them find their way. Experience everything life hands you, good or bad, you learn something regardless, and how you come out of it will determine who you are as a person. Be kind to others, and be kind to yourself!”
I’m just a drummer so that’s all I got!
