Ok so each person is getting challenged today to step out side of their comfort zone. Well, I was expecting to go from one style into another like everyone else did... well the instructor was like "I want you to play an 11/8 shuffle into a 9/8 swing into a 4/4 section of shots." Funniest thing was the bassist and keyboardist that they had available to help us jam, had more problems than I did. And I'm just glad I was able to get it quickly... hahaha. Btw my brain is still fried...
