Here, the entirety of my first journal entry:

It's always better with a handclap.

It's always better with salt.

Coffee should be served strong.

Coffee could be better with you?

What a pompous ass! Now I am quoting myself. But even if I had nothing left to say, I think the first three things are worth noting. The last is just manifestation of my errant...

again with the please don't laugh, but i feel i can share this without keeling over in embarrassment because you confess sily things about yourself sometimes. i always wanted to be a cheerleader.

i was too much of a nerd girl to do it. i ran on the cross country team and played soccer. my mom absolutely refused to allow me to tryout for cheer. she also refused to put me in dance classes. even though i badly wanted to do both. i think she wanted a daughter that would gain respect through her brain rather than her body.

aw fuck. i think i've gone and disappointed her.

how's your day going?

Weekend and I get to half feel like I can relish it. Who likes relish on their dogs? Kraut? Anyhow I can only half enjoy it because these two days are not hemmed in by the Monday morning blues. I worked this week, but am back to government funded compensation next week. No job. Is this what Dad imagined when he sent me off to...

I once told my dad that a girl had a fishhook in my heart.
It was the truth and she must because now I swim around in my little bowl and the world looks so big and beautiful floating above blue gravel with her. But that's not the point...

SG has a fishhook and it's impaled my brain and is sticking out my left eye....

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE THREE MARTINI LUNCH?
(was there really a time of the three martini lunch?)
Forget sitting in a cubicle while chained to your desk and eating takeout that's been rendered cold waiting for someone else to hear the specials. What's happened? Let's get up, stretch the legs and go out to lunch! God, how I used to try. People just expect you...

Re JOYOUS CELEBRATION OF MISERY:

There may not appear to be much misery in this picture, but I took it at a time when I was feeling ever-so lonely, and the idyllic sundrenched picnic seemed like something I would never attain. Ha!

I LOVED Eternal Sunshine. In fact, just after the trailer for A Life Aquatic they showed a trailer for that, and I got SO excited, 'cos I thought Charlie Kaufman had gone and written/made that sequel he mentioned once in an interview, where you get to see the whole episode from Her perspective. But alas, it was just having another run at the cinema I was in. I might go see it again.

I love the fact that we're never online at the same time, so we can leave semiphor and code, one for the other to decifer when we awake. robot skull oink EL SUICIDO LOCO

And yes I Hate Men! (But I don't! Just the one. I've gotten past grief and anger to humour already. But bloody hell - the sex was so fucking great! That jerk.)

Summer. Yeah. At least spring, when the fuck is the spring coming? I can't wait any longer I'm soo bored with the weather. Check out my pics in the journal today. Grey, and cold.

I think "Red Dawn" was then replaced by "Rambo" as Reagan's favorite movie.

STUDY FINDS NPR FUCKS WITH PEOPLES HEAD WHILE SLEEPING (causes dreams that dig up all sorts of shit from subconscious)

... And the day got better as it turned to night. Sometimes it's a strangers smile, sometimes it's the inexplicable lack of concern at a dwindling bank account, sometimes it's a song that turns the day to gold and makes you...

Songs healing your heart?yep, or smashing it too...
I'm so selfish with music, all the great songs just make the pieces of myself go together...When I listen my favourite albums, like My Bloody Valentine's loveless or the Yo la Tengo classics, I fall into myself. When I involve someone else I have a pop soundtrack, featuring Sheryl Crow or even worse, in a good sense...Guess that's why I'm a lonely soul.... wink
sushi and vodka....man, that's the best combination ever!!!
I'll be careful not to try it for a while, it would bring me to a non-stepford state there....
Ps:edited to tell you that Betty agreed, she'll strip at your bachelor party...wanna try with aunt jemima as well?

I guess everyone is trying to be cool sometimes but this being ironic and evil thing is the worst. Why can't people just be themselves, irony should be used in a smart funny way not being used all the time just because people can't stand for anything because they are so afraid others is going to make fun of them even if it's not even funny.... i don't get it. how are you doing, anything special going on?

Today started unsuccessfully as my lamb of a girl put it to me in a bedside note.

I got to bed restless, and then couldn't get back to sleep after the damned dog just had to go out for a crap at five-a-freezing a.m. I tossed and turned, stewing in my self-doubt, anger, frustration, and pity until the sun was coming up, and then, as...

What time is it here?

Today is a good day, the sun is shining and I am up early enough to see all of it. It's bright here in my living room, and not too warm inside because it's nice and cold outside. I spent the morning with a little kid sleeping on my shoulder. We played ball and he giggled uncontrollably when the ball...
