I have been debating. Do I spend a whole shitload of money that I don't have and fly to Austin for SXSW this weekend to see this movie that I helped produce -or- do I just cross my fingers stay home and hope that the other producers can sell it and we can make another one? Essentially it boils down to the fact that I don't need to be there, and would be going just to drink, party, and cause some of my own kind of trouble. Of course, I would love to see the movie the first time a real theater full of people sees it, but is that enough? I am genuinely broke and although things have been looking better, I do have a large financial mudhole to dig myself out of.

but... I love Austin, and my favorite band (Old 97's) is playing Stubb's BBQ while I would be there... Arggghhh! Bring me money, good lottery god!

Ah, I wish someone at the movie could help you out and give you a ticket and a hotel room out there or something. Sounds like it would be a great time, it does but being broke sucks and you can't ignore that fact either. So, I don't know. What movie is it by the way? Do you think I'll hear of it over here?

I wished we didnt heard anything at all when Bob speaks to Charlotte becuase now you can hear some words, and some not, and it's just weird and annoying. It would have been more private if you hadnt heard Bob's voice in the first place, but oh well. It's such a sad movie.

Turn a blind eye to your bank account and DO IT! Adventure is more important than being out of debt.

How much can it cost?

However, you may view me as a cautionary tale. I am currently forced to live on less than 5 a day due to such reckless financial abandon.
