I'm finally hooked up again !!! The house we're working in doesn't have a high speed set-up. I finally installed AOL and hooked up to the phone line. My human took the trip with me so I've been using her computer, but she's not so fond of the time I spend on SG especially while we're on a road trip together and especially on her computer. 
We had a good time. The trip to Boulder was intense because I got a bad cold the day I left. We got to Boulder and the house I'll be living and working in on Thanksgiving Day. It was a construction zone and the owner was leaving the next early morning for a two month trip to Thailand. I had a couple hours to learn everything I needed to know about working in his studio (and dismantling his board to bring in a much larger mixer), as well as learn how to maintain his house in the foothills of the Rockies west of Boulder.
The girl and I had a day or so to stock up with groceries when the biggest snow storm of the season hit. In two days there was more than a foot of snow. We were definately snowed in. I've lived in the south all my life and this is the first real snow I've ever seen.

ing all of this!! The new situation, the challenge of getting it together and the beauty of my surroundings are all awesome. The band shows up tomorrow, so we'll really see!

Are you sick of snow yet? Are you loving it? We've had slush so far here, and lots of cold rain.
So, um, (nerd time) what mixer you working on? Got the Studer action rolling?
I'm heading for Portland in 6 days for abou a week, then I'm planning on moving there come March. I'd love to live in LA, but there's no way I could afford the rent. I'm really hoping to start driving as little as possible, and I've been in LA traffic. Of course, I'm not sure if that falls more in the "stting in your vehicle" category more than "driving".
