I saw Wilco tonight. A Ghost Is Born is one of my two or three favorite albums right now!! They were great.

UPDATE: November 21
So I leave for real tomorrow. I'm quickly trying to finish mixing a live Kristen Hersh show I recorded back in August, and I still have packing and bills to take care of.
The producer I've been working for here, while in some ways obsessive and hard to keep up with, is insanely generous. As a parting gift he gave me a new little Gibson guitar amp and a four thousand dollar bonus.
Holy Shit !!
He asked before I left what it would take to keep me doing work for him long term. I'd say he found one good answer. How cool....I get to go away for three months and I might even have work when I get back !!!
Hopefully, there'll be a decent internet connect at the studio where I'm staying so I can keep track of the SG world.
