My favorite album lately has been the sweet, soothing "Greetings from Michigan" by Sufjan Stevens. Yesterday I was flipping through the LA Weekly and saw that he was playing in about two hours so I went. It was such an interesting, beautiful show. Kinda bizarre too since the album he's touring for is an ode to his homestate of Michigan. It's sort of this almost aggresively mellow, interestingly arranged, indie music from the heartland. I loved it.
