What a great fucking Halloween...
My friend Ethan went through all sorts of hurdles, including trying to motivate us all, to go see Queens Of The Stone Age at the Greek Theatre. He drove way the fuck out of town to try and get tickets only to have the guy sell them before my friend (who had called him and said he was coming to get them) could get there. Ethan drove back to the Greek and bought scalped tickets (good price/good seats!) and drove back to meet us. In the meantime it started to rain pretty hard. He even rememered to buy the Maker's Mark...and we all smoked out and went to the theatre and got soaking wet and watched the totally kick ass Queens of the Stone Age KICK TOTAL ASS! They are everything right with music today.
