So I had a blind date last night. There really isn't much to say, but everyone has been asking me about it, so I suppose I should write something. The movie was really good. We saw "Wedding Crashers", and it was hi-larious. I definitely recommend it. We talked a little bit, but I don't think there was any chemistry. I'm not attracted to her at all and it doesn't seem like we have all that much in common. I admit I didn't put a whole lot of effort into it though, as I have a lot on my mind these days. She told me how she saw Nine Inch Nails recently and I asked her if she saw The Dresden Dolls who opened for the, She said she did, but that she didn't really like them. That was pretty much the end for me . The date ended with an awkward handshake which I decided to turn into a hug because the handshake seemed so
squeer. I got a vibe that she would have welcomed me kissing her, but I wasn't in to it. I'm not into just kissing people without any kind of connection. Unless there is a spinning bottle involved, of course.

I am really excited about tonight though. It's the second to last Friday at ManRay and it promises to be crazy-go-nuts. The girl I like is going to be there and it's going to be the last time I see her before she goes off to Europe for a week. She invited me to a pre-party at her friend's house beforehand (which may or may not still be happening) and then hopefully we'll after-party at my place (or somewhere else if there is something cooler going on.) I can't believe I'm so hung up on this girl. It really is a little bit silly. Oh, but she is so awesome! I do so love having a crush.

Even things don't work out with her, it will still be a fun night. I'll get to hang out with Sid, TheRedBaron, Gumbercules and maybe PopeTom, Jedi,ProjectWarBeast and all of my friday regular friends who aren't on SG.

I really don't know what I'm going to wear though. I hear someone is videotaping so I need to look good. Next week (the last Friday) I'm going to wear latex so I was thinking of reprising Silverman for this week. Silverman always get a lot of attention, but no one wants to make out with Silverman and turn silver (you know?). I appreciate any advice (see my pics to see what Silverman is all about - fortunately I've lost weight since those pics, heh ).

One more thing that is bothering me. Why is it "pre-party" and "after-party" and not "pre-party" and "post-party" or "before-party" and "after-party"?
