Last night I went to ManRay and met up with BoundCreature, ThePants, Palo, TheFullNelson, and Sapphic_Plastic there. We danced all night and had a great time. We are dancing maniacs,
So, we were hanging with Sapphic_Plastic and I had no idea who she was. I figured she was probably from SG but I didn't recognize her, so I asked BoundCreature who she was, and he told me, and I realized she had been on my friends list for, maybe 6 months. I didn't feel so bad when I finally talked to her and realized she didn't recognize me either, lol. ThePants had assumed we knew each because we were on each others friend's lists.

I was also at ManRay Friday night. my roommate Margaret is away visiting her sisters so it was a much ... calmer, less drama-filled Friday. I hung out with the Friday regulars and made a new friend (who gave me a ride home!). I wore a new outfit - a sleevless black top with these metals things.. I took pictures - they will be ready on Tuesday and I'll post them here along with the pics of Marg and my Egyptian outfits from last week. In the meantime I'm going to post Margaret's "conceptual drawings" of my electrical tape outfit from the last Flesh night at ManRay.

And here is what the outfit ended up looking like. You can't see it in this picture but there are metal rings in the back and it is laced all the way up like a corset with black ribbon:



She's a wannabe fashion designer, lol. Though the concept was mine, hehe.

Both nights this weekend they played "Deceptacon" by Le Tigre as the last song. I'm pretty sure I've heard that as the last song there another time at ManRay too. Is it becoming a tradition?

Tonight my friend Karen (Luciana) is coming to visit. She's actually a co-worker of my little brothers out in Philadelphia. Back last Christmas I kind of a had a thing for her. (If you are really curious you can read the journal entries from back then for more info). Basically, she had a crush on my brother but he totally wasn't interested in her. Classic love triangle, I suppose. Anyways, we at least became friends, I went to visit my brother in Philly at the end of January and there was more drama - the bad kind - and I left sort of frustrated and soon forgot all about her. So yeah, I dunno why she is coming to visit. She had actually invited me to hang in NY with her but I didn't want to drive all the way there so instead I invited her up here. I don't have a crush on her anymore, which is good, we can just go out to eat in North end, go to a dive bar and have a good time.


I dunno why, but today I'm finding myself listening to William Shatner's cover of "Common People" over and over again, lol.
