Hello, is there anybody out there? It seems like SG is so dead these days. Or maybe it's just my journal. Or maybe it's just me. I can't really update at work and if I'm home I'm usually asleep so I haven't really updated much recently I guess. This entry will be kind of random, I'm not really sure where it's gonna go...

This past weekend was teh SG NJ Great Adventure trip. I drove down there with Sid, Pip and [MEMBER+Mylf]. It was a lot of fun. I went on 9 different roller coasters, including Kingda Ka, the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world. I was absolutely terrified. It launches you from 0 to 128mph in 3.5 seconds before it turns and goes straight up into the air 456ft high. And when it reaches the top, it pauses for a moment and then dives straight down, the whole time twisting 270 degrees. The ride lasted 15 seconds or so, but the line was nearly 3 hours. It was so worth it. I only regret that I had my eyes closed for much of it. I had been told that they would dry out from the wind if I didn't squint them.

Most people's favorie was El Toro, the new wooden roller coaster that opened this year, but I think I prefer Nitro, which was a steel roller coaster. It was the first one we went on and it was pretty intense. Sid wanted to sit in the front row and I figured I would sit behind her because I didn't really need to be in the front row. It was only when we were loaded onto the car that I realized the line I was in was for the front row only. Oops. That first drop was terrifying. By the end of the day I realized that I'm not really afraid of the roller coasters but I'm really afraid of heights. I love coasters that twist and turn and go upside like Medusa (which looked absolutely amazing in flourescent green and purple after dark, btw), but a ride like Superman, where you are tilted forward so you are practically lying flat, stomach down held in only by the shoulder and ankle strap and suspended above so there is *nothing* beneath you is really terrifying for me.

...

ok, so this entry ended up being about roller coasters, lol. I thought it would be about Leila or something. Maybe next time, heh.

I haven't been on a scary rollercoaster in a long time frown And, I agree, SG is dead...I haven't been on as much and I think the whole world is in a state of confusion and immobility. I believe people do not communicate as much when FEAR attachs to everyday life...maybe I'm in a depressed mood or being overanalytical; but; I haven't been very enthusiastic to contact people lately whatever
