I had a sad realisation yesterday ...

I don't like Christmas music, none of it is actually any good and it's way overused. The same hour long CD has been on constant repeat at work, as it has been every year for ever.

I don't like Christmas decorations. I don't mind a good quality tree that's been tastefully decorated, but neon flashing lights on the front of the house? Grow up.

I don't like what Christmas does to people when they go shopping, whether that's food shopping or gift shopping, everyone goes mental at the same time. Everywhere is full and people spend far more money than they need to.

I don't really see much difference between a Christmas dinner and a regular Sunday roast ... there's a few extravagances on there but it's just a roast dinner with a turkey instead of a chicken, and turkey isn't even that nice.

I don't like waking up at 7am.

I don't really get given much ... alcohol and some money usually, so nothing to look forward to with the unwrapping.

I don't believe in Father Christmas.

I don't believe in Jesus.




...... I don't really like Christmas Does this make me a bad person?
