What to do...

I made a promise to my friend a long time ago that we would enjoy life, no matter what job we had nor what pay we got also.

I really love what I do now...teaching scuba diving. My previous jobs helped me get into an apt and vehicle that was appropriate for that pay, but now is straining my low income.

Should I bail for another job that may pay more but not be as fullfilling or as much fun, or should I just restrain from the previous habits of going out and drinking, and save that $$ to enjoy my current situation.

????? Advice??
