So Zach and I are moving into an apartment come September when our lease is up. We are going to try to save some money over the next 6-12 months and moving into a cheaper place is going to help tremendously. But...we are a little concerned about finding an apartment that does not have breed restrictions against Pit Bulls. Although Baby's vet papers say Boxer mix, she is obviously at least half Pit. And, silly me, when I licensed her I put down Boxer/Pit mix instead of just sticking with Boxer mix.
Zach said that most apartments will just ask for vet papers and will not request to actually see the dog. But what if they notice her after we move in? I was wondering if there is another breed I could pretend she is mixed with. I was thinking we could maybe get away with Boxer/Lab but her big head and broad chest just scream Pit Bull...to me anyway.
Any ideas?
