So I have been working with my tattoo artist to draw up a zombie robot concept. I got the basic feel of the tattoo down, I am just having a hard time getting it to look the way I want because I can't draw that well off the top of my head. My guy is a really awesome artist but I think he is also having a hard time with my explanation of what I want it to look like. If there are any artists out there that read my blog and are up for a challenge here's what I want:

Not necessarily a ZOMBIE robot, as that proved to be very difficult to get perfect, but I was a robot (typical, barrel chest, roundish head maybe open with brains showing, or cracked and seeping, short circuiting, etc.) that looks like he has been through the end of the world, dirty, dented, broken, malfunctioning, etc. And he has ripped the door to his chest completely off its hinges and is holding it down by his side, with his other hand has ripped his heart out and is kind of standing there looking at it like "Aw.. " Sad, blank expression and all. Big blank eyes. I didn't like any of the drawings we came up with that had pupils because I thought he looked too human. I want it to be a robot. A machine, that is feeling sorrow and confusion at ripping his own heart out.

We are working on it today so maybe I'll post some sketches later.
