ok so no bad poetry but a rant tonight. . .i was thinking. . .thinking far too much this afternoon. . . . .

This paper with no lines
A setting devoid of limitations
Does it free the mind
Or make one aware of the errors of their spelling and their spacing? Of their thoughts and their creating? Was the intent to make one a more cautious writer, aware that the fervor of the written page, the one with the lines to hide between, and the organic connection has been severed, this is no longer how you think, this IS the way in which you are supposed to think, to spell, to write. . . . to even speak. . .what awkward thoughts. . . .

Highlighted with little red and green swiggled lines. . .[is that even a word, swiggled, this machines tells me no, but I swear I heard someone say swiggle the other day and if you can swiggle now, it will be in the past sooner or later, and then it will be swiggled(at least that is what my brain tells me)]

what a moronic way to look at language. . .to listen to language much less. . .

is it language if it is written and not spoken? Is it still language if it is spoken and thus butchered at the vocal recalling of ones less than literarily proficient? Or, I am sorry, linguistically proficient?

A common and very simple misuse of the terms good and well on national television caught my ear the other day, a person selected for their ability in the world of sports, their above average, their above human ability within a sport, a national hero, an icon and an idol undoubtedly. . .and a simple change of terms, one for another with similar meaning. . . good(as Webster does define) 1) effective; efficient 2) beneficial 3) valid; real and then for those paying attention. . . well (again thank you Webster) 1) in a satisfactory, proper, or excellent manner 2) prosperously 3) with good reason. . . .well as I am sure you can tell from these two short, brief and otherwise unfinished pursuings of the dictionary. . .good refers to a time, place, thing. . . .and well, well it refers to an action. . . he is good he did good can you see the difference? No? say them out-loud to oneself. . (dont worry the person in the cubicle next to you will never notice you speaking to yourself above the din in their head caused by a lack of sleep and a constant tapping on keys and chattering from around the water-cooler, besides the noise in their head is probably more bothersome to you than anything you could say to offend them) and I hope you can hear the ding of horrible grammar in your ear. . . . .
