The Breath Before Speaking
The breath before
A butterflied fluttering pause
Of silence
Unspeakable, unreachable noise,
The cause
Frightful alliance.
The beginning and end
Restitution resolution.
A violent clash of heart beats and exhales
Filter through empty space.
Time is the only presence
Gifted sweet measures
Patterns of air
Sweep cross the horizon where
I am the corpse rotting in pleasure.
