fuck not having health insurance or a job. it appears i may be sick again. i've had three surgeries since last august. and since I was forced to resign my previous job I lost all insurance benefits immediately. Fucking Cobra insurance would cost $450 a month. I'm like what the fuck? I don't have a job how can I pay that? If only they would have given me a hysterectomy last time they were in there instead of "trying to save my ovary so I can have children." i have so little desire to have children that i think it may be unhealthy.... confused

Take care honey, that sounds horrible. I still find it hard to believe that Americans don't have the right to health care. I lived there for 6 months, but I had an HMO through the company I worked for. I'm living in the most Americanized province in Canada, here people pay $45/month for health care (which appalls me), unless you have a good job which covers it. Most provinces in Canada health insurance is free.

Sorry but I won't be watching the leaves change in North Carolina. I'm staying in Fort Mac until the money runs out. Learning cable splicing right now, digging trenches, getting dirty. I love it.
